You get to Grab a Draptor! just for buying 6 months or 12 months of premium.
CIP is offering anyone who buys a premium account of 180 or 360 days a free mount – a Shadow Draptor.
I’m in a position that I can buy a 6 month so I will be getting my Shadow Draptor.
Whilst that’s fantastic for anyone buying or renewing premmy right now who loves to collect mounts, I can’t help thinking that CIP missed a great opportunity here.
There are players who have supported CIP for years, buying yearly or six monthly premiums and for this promotion, they will miss out on getting a Shadow Draptor.
For a bit of work on their part, they could have rewarded all their long term, long paying customers for their years of support. I would be interested in how many people actually buy 6 or 12 month premiums and how much work it would have taken to just give them a draptor. Even a special code appearing on their account page saying use this with Element 5 to get your Shadow Draptor – thanks for all your support shouldn’t be that hard.
They would have had grateful customers who would have been happy to renew their premiums AND gain new long term customers using this promotion.
CIP seems to treat their long term, long paying customers with contempt and until they realise that they are the backbone of the company, CIP will start finding out that these customers will just stop renewing for long periods.
I wrote about this on the forum for Grab a Draptor! and as it’s the weekend, there will be no responses till Monday.
The other issue with this was that the original article wasn’t clear enough and players were not aware that they had to buy this promotion through Element 5.
Once again, CIP failed with communication and many players bought 2 x 90 days believing that they will get the Shadow Draptors.
I’m anticipating that CIP will have a lot of cancelled premmies for this month, as players who bought recently 180 or 360 day premmies cancel them to rebuy and get a shadow draptor and as the many who didn’t know to buy from element 5 bought 2 x 90 day premmies cancel as well.
CIP doesn’t seem to have anyone who knows about customer service, customer communication and empathy for their clients.
Time for CIP to hire someone who does.

I found it very unfair that after I just bought a year worth of premium time that I wrote cip. and wrote on the forum and to no avail.
I got the message of were sorry we don’t value the old premium times just new ones. After I have been a customer for 10 years and 6 years of it being premium I think I earned something.
I found my self thinking should I even buy premium in a year when it comes time or just wait for the moment where they want to spring something like this on us again.
For cip. to do this is really unfair after I save every penny I can to buy a year premium then a month later have a deal come out and have no money left at all it just isn’t right.
